Our Take

While airline co-branded credit cards may offer perks like status upgrades and additional baggage allowance, the ADCB Traveller card stands out with a 10% cashback on airline ticket purchases. This not only provides a higher return in absolute value, but also offers greater flexibility, as the reward is in cashback rather than miles—making it the best card on the market for booking flights. Same goes for hotel bookings, however, booking hotels through their own portal is usually more expensive that booking through travel sites. It's always worth comparing prices.

One often-overlooked feature of this card is its 1.5% cashback on the "everything else" category, which includes government and real estate payments. This makes it the best options for paying property installments, provided the developer accepts card payments. When combined with Wio Credit, you could potentially save up to 2.5% on your property purchase.

Lastly, enjoy 50% cashback on cinema ticket purchases within the UAE—a feature that brings to mind the old DIB Consumer cards when they offered something similar. One limitation to note: the cashback only applies when tickets are purchased online. To maximize the benefit, be sure to order your food online as well, and you’ll get the same generous 50% discount on that too.

This card is tough to beat. If you have a lot of spending on government, property and travel, its a no-brainer.
