Details
The ADIB Cashback Card offers a broad range of cashback categories, making it a strong all-rounder for everyday spending.
You’ll earn 4% cashback on supermarket and hypermarket purchases, school and education expenses, car servicing and fuel, utility bills, and even dining. Cashback is capped at AED 1,000 per statement cycle and is credited as a statement credit at the end of the same month.
This card competes directly with the DIB Platinum and non-Platinum Cashback Cards. However, with DIB recently increasing both their annual fees and adding a minimum spend requirements, the ADIB Cashback Card stands out as the better option.
An added bonus: ADIB credits your cashback at the end of the current month, whereas DIB only does so at the end of the following month.
Perks:
Xperiance App: Download the app and add your card to avail "buy 1 get 1" offers.
Free roadside assistance, including offering a rental car for 24 hours when involved in a car crash.
Our Take
For most people, this is a must-have second card. It offers 4% cashback across one of the widest sets of categories on the market, and it's the only card that gives cashback on both dining and utilities ( including telecom, gas etc.) with no minimum spend required.
When paired with the Wio Credit Card, you can earn up to 5% cashback on most of your daily expenses. Plus, Wio gives 2% cashback on all other spending, meaning nearly every category is covered between the two.
This combo is the perfect two-card strategy for anyone who prefers straightforward cashback over complex points systems.
